Tony Portaro, founding member of WHIPLASH, leads a lineup that delivers metal old-school style. Portaro's unique vocals and thrashing riffs keep heads banging, while his intricate, soaring leads punctuate his songwriting for a masterful performance.

BASS

Will Winton first joined forces with WHIPLASH in 2022, kicking ass in an incredible, short-notice, fill-in performance in Finland.

Will was then recruited for tours including MTV's Headbangers' Ball Euro tour 2023, Destruction's 40th Anniversary Euro tour, Power and Warfare South America tour and the Whiplash 40 Year Anniversary tour. Being the frontman for his own band, Thanatotic Desire, Will brings his superstar power performance to WHIPLASH.

Mitch Hull joins Whiplash in their 40th Year of thrashing, bringing an immense skillset combined with meticulous technique. As a sought-after North Carolina drummer, Mitch teaches drums and is versed in all styles and methods of battery. From his prog/rock band, Soften The Glare, to the hot Van Halen cover band, Mean Street, and numerous guest projects,
Mitch now unleashes his power thrashing drums!

Ron Lipnicki is a thrash legend in his own right. Ron’s drum skills need no introduction, coming off a 12-year run with OVERKILL. With his fluid, rapid fire guns, Ronnie obliterates
the kit.

Fabio Alessandrini
is an italian dynamo who showcases his amazing talents on stages around the world. As witnessed on his 5-year run with Annihilator, Fabio destroys with his killer performance.

Dan Foord has a mighty, mathematical, and precision strike. A machine-like master of the prog style, "Loord" Foord is the power line behind UK's SykTh and Krokodil. His reign on the Whiplash throne is world reknown.
